    Can I shift/rotate rows & columns?

I hope someone can help me out with this.

I have a spreadsheet set up and filled with data. Now I want to shift everything so that what is now shown in columns becomes rows, and vice versa.

To put it another way, the data in b1 through b5, needs to be shifted to show up as b1 through f1. The problem I have is that this was an export of a 900+ line file into a .csv, and I now need to import it elsewhere, but in this shifted format.

    Any ideas?

"You can't make a fool out of me!", he ranted.
I simply responded, "You're absolutely correct! I can only point it out. The rest is up to you!"

Hi and welcome to the board,
if your data is in one column, select the data - Copy - select the first cell for the row - Right click - Select Paste Special - Transpose - OK

Thank you, Arthur! I had looked in Paste Special, but had missed the Transpose option.

    I appreciate the help.
