    Associations & Drop Down Lists

Searching google has failed me. So I guess I'll have to ask a real person my question.

I have an excel document with two tables of data the first is "Information" where I keep all of my raw data, and the second is "Output" where all of this data is calculated and bounced off of eachother.

In my output tab I have created a drop down list for "Control Towers" I can choose from 1 of 12 different kinds of towers.

Then under that I can choose a gun to put on this tower. Currently I have another drop down list for these guns, currently my list has 3 groups of guns, with about 18 different guns. Depending on the tower that was chosen, I only want one group of guns to show up on my drop down menu.

    Example:
I choose a tower "Amarr Large Control Tower"

And under my gun drop down list, recognizes that we have an Amarr Tower and pulls up the appropriate group of amarr based guns for that type of tower.
So then I don't have to scroll through a whole bunch of guns, I just need to scroll through a small amount of guns.

If I can get this to work, I will also be using the associative drop down list for two other influencing factors. Faction guns and ammo.

All to ultimately output the total damage the tower can do
