Matching card number to info

Hi Guys

I have started a company and would like some help with a problem.

I have data from an SQL server with details of customer purchases. I would like to link a card number (as we use smartcards for purchases) with information gathered from sign up such as age and location.

In the hope then I can sort purchases via location for example in new spreadsheet with the data from the two combined.

If anyone know how to do this or point in the terms of what this process is called so I can research it that would be great.

On the off chance that the card details (and associated info.) are also stored in a table on the SQL server it would make sense to run a basic SQL Join so as to retrieve all of the requisite info. in one data set.
