    Printing

Can anyone please help. I have a 10 sheet workbook that I would like to include a macro on each sheet to print the active sheet the number that I type into a cell. For example:- The cell above could have print number and if I type 5 then 5 sheets would print without having to go to file, print and type the number required. Then if I go to the next sheet I might need 15 printed. Is this possible because when I try to record a macro, the print buttons ect are greyed out. Any help would be thankfully received.

Thanks for that, it is in A24, But where I put that code is another matter. I thought it would be as easy as when I record a macro. Obviously I'm over my head. That's the trouble with being a 60 year old novice.

You're two years older than me! We all have to start somewhere

    Copy the Excel VBA code
Select the workbook in which you want to use the Excel VBA code
Hold the Alt key, and press the F11 key, to open the Visual Basic Editor
    Choose Insert | Module
Where the cursor is flashing, choose Edit | Paste

To run the Excel VBA code:
Choose Tools | Macro | Macros
Select a macro in the list, and click the Run button

If you want to use a button then read this
