Hello --I have attached my spreadsheet----sheet2 is a due list created from sheet 1-----the problem is that when grabs rows from sheet 1 and transfers to sheet 2 column D and some cells in column F are supposed to be Dates format not general format--how do i keep this from happening, they are in the correct format in sheet 1------thanks in advance

I would set up sheet2 with the formats that you intend to end up with....this way when data is copied into the sheet it will display correctly....or.... you could copy and paste, using the pastespecial option that keeps the formatting and all in tact.

That would be ok--but the problem is that sheet 2 is always changing--so somehow it needs to see the format in sheet1 and carry over to sheet 2-------rows from sheet1 may be in different places on sheet2 at different times if that makes sense
