Question Adding hh:mm values factoring in data validation

    Hi Guys

I've been trying to figure this out for an hour now, but I can't seem to see the wood for the trees on this one and hoped you could help.

I'm trying to sum a column of hh:mm values. However, within this column there are some values that are determined by a drop-down menu in the previous column, through the usage of IF statements. For some reason, my SUM function is completely ignoring these values when calculating the total and I have no idea why. The entire column is formatted as hh:mm. I've searched high and wide and can't find the solution anyhow

To illustrate I have attached the spreadsheet I'm working on currently.

    Thanks!
