    Question Generation of data in sheet 2

    Hi,
    I am trying to prepare an excel where
    in sheet1
    Column A: 'task no' are entered
    Col. B: employee name will be selected from drop down against each task number.

    In sheet 2
    I have allready Entered the name of employees
    I want below the name all the task no. assigned to that person to be genarated automatically.

    Hi MarvinP,

    many many thanks for your help.
    Except pivotal table is there any other way I can auto generate the task nuber under name in sheet 2.
    In the first sheet the number of task will increase daily and employees numbers will also increase.

    This can be done in VBA with a Change Event macro (see attached)

    Hi

    Try this one

    I have used some supportive columns in sheet 1 and 2

    Copy the formula down and across as needed.
    Names should be identical in both sheets
