Adding an entire column

Afternoon,

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to add an entire column, but am unsure of how many rows there will be in total (as the year goes on more rows will be added). So I am looking for a sum to add all the values in a column. I don't want to really use =C2:C9999999

Try simply

=SUM(C:C)
