Create League Table Function

Hello all,

Just need some advice.

Is it possible to make a function that can create league tables on the fly.
What i mean is a user is asked how many teams to include and from that the program can create the league table as specified by user.

I am trying to setup a format for a darts league.

The way it will work is the program is going to ask the tournament format and then set it up.
It can start with 32 team knockout and then into a league basis with 4 tables of 4.

I just want to know can it be done or am my wasting my time trying to create this.

What if user enter 22 teams?

yes i understand what you mean with 22 teams.
With that it will have to use 12 teams with 6 winners to join the other 10 to make
an even 16 with 4 x 4 tables.

I think doing the first part won't be the hardest but my original question
Is it possible to create league tables on the fly with a function?

This is the hard part but is it impossible or a waste of time?

It's just too much work to do without knowing would that be answer you want. If you can divide your issue, make some example workbook with your input and desired output maybe something can be done.
