    altering drop down lists

I am using Excel 2003: I am trying to adapt a sheet which has 3 columns with drop down lists in each row (about 130 of them). The data for the drop down lists all comes from one separate sheet in the same workbook. Is there a way to change the data source from one page to another for each of these drop down lists without having to change the input range in Format Control for each one individually? Thanks for your help.

hmm..can you post an example workbook cleaned of personal data? That's the best way to ensure an accurate solution

Should there be values in the drop down list? I can't see any value in Column A.

Ah, yes there are values. I copied part of the sheet with the drop down menus on but it refers to a different sheet for the values, so none are showing. It is the path to the sheet I need to change in each of these drop down menus.

I'm not sure of the values are. I can't see anything.

In using Data Validation, the "values" must be on the same sheet as the Drop Down. Please see example.

I remember I was doing that Excel 2003.
To be clear: you want to change the source information (add aditional values), and the Dropdown list must be updated without modifying the references.

First: Group the source data as an Excel List.
Second: give the lista a name.
Third: On the drop down list must be refered to the exel list by name.
