Sending Emails from Excel Dependent Cell

I have created an Excel spreadsheet for our resource library and I want the data in the "Date In" column to generate an email to patrons who have failed to return media to the library by the due date. The "Date In" column is dependent upon the "Date Out" column entries plus 20 days. For example =E2+20 replicated in each column cell for all media in the library. I think I have to use VBA in Excel to create a macro that will be triggered to send an email to the patron's address if the "Date In" column data is greater than 20 days for that patron. I can access VBA and have named my spreadsheet "Test1". What must I write in order to generate the email? Thanks for the help. LibraryHelp

Re: Sending Emails from Excel Dependent Cell

Hello dpgleason, welcome to the forum.

A quick google search would have brought up the following website at or near the top for e-mailing from Excel: http://www.rondebruin.nl/sendmail.htm

There are many examples of Ron's code used in this forum, and he has many options based on what you want to send, when, and how.

    Hope that helps!
