    Conditional formatting

    Hi, newbie here

I am using Excel 2010 and have been experiencing troubles with a spreadsheet that a client sent to me. The option for conditional formatting is greyed out and I can't use it at all.. I've had similar problems when a spreadsheet has been shared with other users but that's not the case here. Even more confusing is that the client doesn't have this problem on their end!

Any thoughts? It's probably something simple I'm overlooking (or so I hope).

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Conditional formatting

Can you share a copy of this workbook(you could erase the data because that should not matter)?

    Does either of these help?

Error seems to be pointing to shared workbooks or protected workbooks

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
