    =dateif

Probably a simple question but! im trying to calculate the diffrence between two dates so lets say =DATEDIF(B4;B22; "D") wich will give me the diffrence between b22 and b4.. obviously! but b22 is empty, and id like it to go to b21, wich is empty so id like it to go to b 20.. and so on untill it finds a date, wich right know is in b6, objectiv being to see how many days it took me to do a certain thing everytime i add a date in to the spreadsheet without having to change the formula any time! thx in advance! i have been looking on forums and asking people i know for the past two hours lol.. im annoyed thanks in advance! (sorry for my english its not my first language! )

    Re: =dateif

    Try:

    =DATEDIF(B4;LOOKUP(9.9999E+307;B5:B22);"D")
Where there is a will there are many ways.

I tested it as a formula and it works, although I use comma separators.

Are you trying to do conditional formatting?
