Looking up data from a specific date

    Hi guys,

New to this forum and wondered if one of you lovely people could help me out.

Basically I am trying to match data from the latest date on a spreadsheet i.e use a formula to look up the latest date and then match this with the corresponding data. Bit more detail
    • The dates are generated from another forumula when it creates this based on the latest finish date
The dates are displayed in columns rather than rows.
I'm looking to export the correct data to a seperate tab in the workbook.

If this isn't enough detail please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Tim

as long as they are real dates not text you can always use max to find the greatest date
so say your dates are in b1 to z1 and you want to get data from g2 which corresponds with your latest date in g1
    =index(b2:z2,match(max(b1:z1),b1:z1,0))
