I'd like to know how Add Reputation and the pointing system works in our forum. How are points earned? Is there any methodology followed? Can you please explain?

I'd like to know how Add Reputation and the pointing system works in our forum. How are points earned? Is there any methodology followed? Can you please explain?
If my assistance has helped, there is a reputation icon * on the left hand corner below the post - you can show your appreciation to the user who has helped in resolving your requirement.
If your requirement has been solved please mark your thread as Solved.
In the menu bar above the very first post, select Thread Tools, then select "Mark this thread as Solved".
Kindly use [FORMULA] or [CODE] tags when posting your code.

Working hard!!..How are points earned?
Every one has his own methology. As a rule you can take that if you want to get reps for your replies then you need to give some rep for the other replies to your own threads... Is there any methodology followed?
Also
You have to convince others with your work that you deserve that(the rep!).

That's why i managed to count some rep points.

Joking apart, it DOES make a difference. I have done the same as you on another forum I frequent: if the prompt is there in the signature line, you WILL get more rep than without, regardless of how helpful you are. Believe me, I know it's the case.Of course..! How could i forget this?
That's why i managed to count some rep points.
I should add that you do, of course, have to help - you don't just get them - but you are more likely to be thanked with rep points if you point out that someone can do that than by not doing so.
