Here is another weird download problem. Downloaded files are being designated as Word but with xls or xlsx file extensions. Other websites do not exhibit this so I assume that it is this site that is messing things up.
Anyone else having problems like this?

Problem identified. A computer update mangled the settings as applies to web browsers. Had to re-image to fix.
