This thing is really frustrating and counter-productive. I can see how it might be useful for some people, particularly admins, but how about making it "optionable" (by user profile or by post, I don't care!) so that by default it is NOT enabled?
I sometimes do google searches in IE 11 (only because Firefox is unstable with a large number of windows, and I simultaneously run a very large number of browser windows). I just loaded the page below and got something I've never seen before today, a "Thread View" map of posts atop, and only the first post showing. Here's the one that just got that.

It shows post #1 and no more in IE11, not even "next page" type page navigator links at the bottom. It seems you have to click the map to see the rest of the posts. Even then, you still get just one post at a time - then you have to return to the map. You also have to keep track of where you were so it's completely inefficient.
Firefox is still working like it always did - only IE has this. And it never happened before this week.
Assuming this is not just a glitch or merely some dumbass user error (thank me very much)...then...
If it is impossible to make this non-default due to a recent board upgrade or something, is there a URL modification or something to override this, so that I can just view chronologically, with multiples shown on the page?
I can't tell if this is happening to all pages or if I just got unlucky with all 3 that I just tried today.
