    Infraction for public messages

    Hello everybody,
There is a rule in this forum that says:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
I didn`t send private messages to anybody.I sent only public messages to some members to help me in my thread.
    Are public messages prohibited also?
Why I got a fraction for this? The member can block my messages and that`s it.
    Please help me

Re: A fraction for public messages

You have had this explained to you. The member that you messaged asking for help made a complaint that you had been asked by him before not to PM him asking for help, and he had explained to you why you should not do so, citing the forum's rules. Nonetheless, you contacted him again asking for help. This is not allowed - as you have shown yourself, the rules prohibit it. This applies also to visitor messages.

This has also been sent to you regarding the violation of this rule, and I strongly suggest you now stop protesting about the issue, as nothing is going to change:

Breaking this rule is considered harassment by most of our contributors and thus cannot be tolerated. Repeat offence could lead to a permanent ban, so do take this caution to heart.
    You said this:

The member can block my messages and that`s it.
Nobody should have to block you. You must abide by the rules: do NOT message anyone on these forums asking for help. To get help, you start a thread and you wait for members to offer that help. You do not pester individuals. I hope this is now clear.

You have pestered me this morning via private message about this, too. I am closing this thread, as it is not a suggestion for improvement and the rules are NOT going to change. Thank you for letting the issue drop now.

Did Ali's post clear this up for you and you now accept that you did PM someone?

    Re: Infraction for public messages

This thread is closed, so the OP will not be able to reply, however, he has PMd me again and I have reiterated what I have said here. The rule applies to ALL messaging, PMs and visitor messages, neither of which should be abused in this way. The member who reported it said it was a PM, despite what the OP seems to be saying here.
