problem with submiting new thread

Hi
I think this the the proper place to post this!!!!!

After I write a question, I like to preview it for errors and changes
I then click "submit new thread.

THEN I get an error message that its to short.
when I look at it, the box is blank.
I then have to re write it.
Some times I have to do it more than once
Am I doing something wrong?

Does this mean you post for preview and then attempt to edit?

If so that happens to me occasionally. It's been reported by others as well ... it even happens while trying to upload a workbook.

The only remedy I have found is to make a practice of always selecting and copying before taking any action that may be un-doable. That way if the post comes back blank I can just paste post and move on.

Not much of a remedy, but it's the only one I can offer.

It seems to happen even when I don't preview and edit.

That's what I have to do, too (copy and paste)

Report it to a Mod or Admin.

That's too many times. They may have a backstage setting or other remedy. I wouldn't put up with it though.
