Hi,
As the title suggests, wouldn't be easier for every new user to find the sample upload instructions somewhere in Rules section? I am assuming that a percentage of them are reading the rules.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi, Paul!
Thanks for adding the suggestion here. The rules were streamlined in September last year and the team is currently working on updating the canned responses used by mods, admins and gurus so that they are in line with those rules. Once this is done, we shall be adding some notes of advice below the rules, and this information may well be included there, although it won't be included in the rule itself, which will remain short and snappy.
Hope this makes sense.

Understood. If these kind of information is present in that section it would be the best, and of course, the instructions cannot be considered rules, apologies for not realize that.
Not a problem, Paul, we welcome all input from members regarding how the forum is managed - that is not to say that all suggestions/requests will be implemented, but we would still appreciate the input
What Ford said - thanks!
Is that going to be helpful for Paul?... currently working on updating the canned responses used by mods, admins and gurus ...

Paul doesn't have access to the canned responses (he won't until he becomes an expert). The statement I made was to do with what is going on behind the scenes and the order in which we are tackling things, which is relevant. I don't understand your comment, Trevor, in the context of what I wrote.
Once this is done, we shall be adding some notes of advice below the rules, ...
I obviously misunderstood your response.
Sorry that it wasn't as clear as it could have been.
No worries
