Isn't what goes on other websites actually none of your business?
The only reason is that you might cruise other sites and what? What right have you to even attempt to inhibit what I post elsewhere and why I post it?
Please explain your logic.

I'm not sure anyone has ever said you cannot cross-post the same question on multiple boards but that when you do you provide links.
Simple reason; people, who are donating their spare time for free, can check to see if the issue has been resolved elsewhere in advance of working on it.
edit: if you did happen to cross-post, and you did provide the links, and someone still complained well that's a little different...
I don't think many folk have an issue with cross posting when done correctly.

There is no rule against cross-posting. Here is what our rule tells you to do if you do cross-post:
Anyone not providing such links will be asked to do so. It's quite simple, and the reasons have been outlined in the post above mine. The rules are the same on most if not all Excel forums.3. Questions that are cross-posted to other web forums must contain links to those posts on those forums or a comment to tell us where else the question has been asked. (A, Z*)
I have been through your posts here and can't find any reason for this outburst - who has raised cross-posting with you? I have had a very offensive private message from you (two, in fact, and one that mentioned my family, who certainly have nothing to do with this), but cannot find what I have done to incur your annoyance. Nor can I find any interaction between me and you on any of the other forums I frequent. Please tell us specifically what has upset you.
