Reply button over quick reply is misleading and causing frustration

On numerous occasions I've clicked the reply button above the quick reply comment after writing a long response and then I lose everything when the page changes. Seems to me the positioning of this button above the quick reply isn't ideal

I am afraid that that is part of the vBulletin software setup and not amendable by the tech team (other than removing it totally) as far as I know (not that the tech team would amend/move it if requested by the Admins/Moderators even if they could).
If my solution worked (or not) please let me know. If your question is answered then please remember to mark it solved

Just remember that after composing your reply, you need to POST it to the forum.
