[SOLVED] Not receiving Notifications on threads I have created

I am a new member, I have created 2 threads. If I go to view all subscribed thread, I can see both threads in the list.
However, I see notifications as none for both the threads. If check both & check Notifications through Control Panel & click on Go, notifications remain as none.

I am not interested in email notifications only some alert on the top bar (like it happens on other vBulletin forums). But I am not getting any notifications of replies.

I am using Firefox 71 (64-bit) on Windows 10.

Have you checked your settings? The subscription setting (Settings > General Settings) should be set to "through control panel only".

But I still didn't get a notification for this reply of yours even though this thread shows up under my subscribed threads.

Check Screenshot below. I am subscribed to these threads. The notification check box is blank & if I try to change it, it doesn't.

I check all 3 checkboxes, click Selected threads, then Update Subscription type & through CP, & then click on Go, the notification remains as none.

I think the control panel notification for thread subscriptions is not working, then - sorry about that. I shall report it, but be aware that the tech team rarely respond to our requests for bugs to be fixed, so you might have to go with one of the E-mail options if you really must have notifications.

Please be aware that you can always find your latest posts from the latest posts link on your profile page, so all is not lost!

Ali's suggestions are definitely worth pursuing, but email notification failures are, sadly, rather common. Sometimes it seems to be a temporary sitewide problem, sometimes it's a settings issue, and other times it is specific to an email address. Personally, I can get notifications sent to my personal email address, but they stopped functioning with my work email address a few years ago. I would suggest following Ali's advice, and there are several other threads on the issue that might have useful suggestions, but you might just need to try a different email address.

The notification of "None" means that you are not getting email notifications.
But if you click on "Settings" (top right hand corner) you should still see a list of all subscribed threads with unread posts.
Although I've had problems with the board deciding I've seen everything & removing them from the list.

I am not interested in Email notifications. I was talking about the notification which comes on the top bar. I think I get it when someone sends me a PM. But don't get it for replies. In most other forums I have participated in, you get it for both PMs & also for replies in subscribed threads.

Thank you. This is easier than how I was checking if I have any unread replies.

You don’t get it for thread replies, just pms, there’s no way of enabling it.

I think that's the answer. Probably some other forum software support Notifications for replies, but vBulletin doesn't. Anyway,

the usercp page is good way to track replies, so I will close this as solved.
