Can we remove "Mac" from the title of the "Other platforms" forum? Most Mac questions are not specific to the Mac and even if they are, the Excel subforums are not specific to Windows. There are some differences between Excel for Mac and Windows but not many.

It'll be one of those things that the Tech Team won't get round to or won't tell Ford how to do himself, just like having a new section for Power Stuff.
I would suggest we perhaps create a sticky advising mods not to move Mac queries in future.
It seems that the differences in the latest versions are minimal, anyway (PQ is now supported, for example).

PQ is only supported for refreshing, in the UI at least. You can create queries in VBA though. And there’s STILL no user form designer.

I believe Apple as a matter of policy does not support ActiveX so UserForms are not supported, nor ActiveX controls anywhere else.
But does that really mean that questions about Excel on a Mac do not belong in Excel General, etc.?
They are only ActiveX when embedded in a worksheet. MSForms controls on userforms work fine on a Mac (with a few differences), you just can’t design the form, other than in code.
It’s a bit of a toss-up really: formulas on a Mac are no different, so could easily go in Excel general or formulas, but there are significant differences in functionality and the whole UI layout. I’d leave it as it is - not that I think you have much choice anyway - but maybe only move non-formula questions there?
