System says email address is "invalid"?

    Hi there,

When I use my email address ending in "telusplanet.net", your system says it's "invalid".

Then, when I use my alternate email address ending "telus.net", your system accepts.

    Many thanks,

    Jerry

EDIT: I SHOULD'VE CLARIFIED THIS OCCURS WHEN REGISTERING FOR AN ACCOUNT

    Hi Jerry,

Sorry for the delay in responding. We have not had other reports of this problem that I have ever heard of.

If you PM me the full email that you attempted and your successful email address, I can have the tech folks look into this. (Normally I would be able to pull your successful email address out of your account data but the system is not allowing me to access that area at this time.) I do not know what criteria are used beyond correct syntax to validate email addresses. But when I ping telusplanet.net at 161.184.245.22 it times out.
    Jeff

    Hello there,
Sorry for your inconvenience but I have heard this for the very first time to be honest It seems there might be a system glitch still you can clear browser cache and for the better assistance go to contact support.

Hope the above will be helpful.

I'm afraid that you seem to have no particular knowledge about this problem, and several months ago I did in fact contact support. This is either caused by an unreachable email address or a server problem, neither of which is going to be addressed by clearing cache.
