    Help With My Account ... Pleez

    Lately I have experienced great difficulty logging in to my account. I have emailed Forum Management several times asking for assistance but no one has responded to my inquiries.

    The issue of logging in is almost like I've been banned from the Forum for some reason. If this is the case I was never advised of such and never given a reason. If I am not presently
    under a status of "discipline" then what might be causing this issue ?

    Would someone from the Forum management please respond to my requests ? Thank you for your understanding.

    Sorry to read this.

    I don't think the Admins have any access to Forum Management stuff, otherwise one of them certainly WOULD have responded.

    You definitely haven't been banned! You would not be able to log in at all if that were so.

    Might I suggest that you PM Jeff (6StringJazzer) to see if he can get to the bottom of it. What would be helpful are any error messages you've seen - you don't describe in detail the 'difficulties' that you have had.

    Please accept my apologies. I've been doing considerable "digging" through my computer and discovered the URL link saved in my browser menu bar was changed at some point.
    I've corrected the URL link and am now able to go directly to this Forum.

    Computers are such 'wonderful' things ... (when they work as intended).

    Yes I had the same problem. I registered with this forum some months ago: I could login without a problem, but whenever I tried to even post to "new user/introduce yourself" I was told that I was did not have enough privileges. And then when I was reading another post with an excel attachment which demonstrated an issue, I was also told I had insufficient privileges. Like you I tried to contact the forum management, but got reply.
    But, after trying off and on for months, tonight I registered myself with a different name, etc , and it is now all OK! All I changed was my email and screen name. Some gremlin in the system didn't like me. Forward from here ...

    Hi Le0p, we do not allow multiple user accounts for the same person. Please give me your old username so I can delete the bad account. Thanks.

    Hi Logit, I see that your problem is solved now. I am sorry I didn't see this post earlier, but despite my best efforts I cannot systematically review every post.     The status of that account is "Users awaiting email confirmation". Apparently you never completed the registration process.

    Since you have created another account I'll delete the first one.
