The tech team has devised a better way of marking threads as solved. Click on Thread Tools -> Mark thread as Solved. To undo this action, again click on Thread Tools -> Mark Thread as Unsolved .
The old method of marking threads as solved will continue to exist and so will the rule that you can mark it solved only within 2 days or else a mod has to do it for you.
Please check it at your end and revert if you are facing any issues.

Arlette, whilst i appluad the tech team for installing what was already there in the previous version of the software, they haven't "devised" anything, they simply did this http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=234935
That's fine Simon. Atleast it will speed up the process of marking threads solved and save time for everyone.
