Interesting scenario...
*** Problem ***
OP started two threads (found out after looking at all his posts) with relatively the same question:
http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...ble-count.html
http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...ble-count.html
The first thread had no responses, but the second thread had already two posts from me. When I came to see if the OP had responded I found that the threads had be locked with no notice of why or by whom. Only after I started digging around did I find out that there was a second sister thread.
*** Potential solution ***
May I make an suggestion, if you are going to moderate, please explain your decision... leave a message saying that your 'post does not comply with rule number X and that you are locking this thread'. In the case you lock a thread, maybe leave the other open so we can continue to assist the OP. What's the point of locking both threads???
In all fairness, the person who locked the thread might have overlooked the simple need to post 'why' or the threads could have been locked by different moderators/ admin. In the end, I don't know where I should put my response to the OP's question.
