The last 10 visitor(s) & ”friends request”

As far as I can see the list “last 10 visitor(s)” is sorted automatically by the forum system. In my opinion this makes the list less interesting.

If I have visitors B, A, X, Z and then X in my forum page I would like to see the list result presented as: X, Z, X, A, B and not as A, B, X, Z

A “friend request” from somebody at approximately my “forum level” or higher I take as a compliment that somebody likes the way I’ve solved problems, my humour or some other quality they think I may possess. For me this is a “mark“ of approval and I’m not expected to act in any way aside from accepting the ”friend request”.

If on the other hand the “friend request” comes from a fairly new member (say less than10 posting) I’m rather unsure of what is expected of me. I’ve searched the FAQ on this subject but have not found an answer to this so I would like your thoughts and comments on the “friend request”.

Thanks for info re "last 10 visitor(s)" and I guess you are right. To bad I would have liked to see a "visitor" pattern.

Thank you all for your comments on "friends request" and I'll keep on regarding it as a friendly gesture that carries no obligation from my side if I accept a "friends request".

As these answer clarifies my speculation I'll mark this post as "Solved"
