Trouble accessing for forum from laptop

Every time I try to go to the forum from my laptop I get a timeout message from something called CloudFlare.

I can get access using my phone, which is what I'm using to write this message.

Is anybody else experiencing this problem or similar?

Could it be a problem on my side?
If posting code please use code tags, see here.

I had problems also in the last few hours. Perhaps the site had a problem and it is now fixed?

I was hoping it would be a temporary thing but I just tried and the same thing happens.

Did you get message from CloudFlare about a timeout?

I'll try to post a link to an image of it I uploaded.

By the way, this is not solved - think I hit the wrong button somewhere.

Re: Trouble accessing for forum from laptop

    Hi Norie,

I was getting a completely different error message. I was trying to change my Display Settings, as my Hybrid view was showing wrong icons. I was given an error message coming from the website about line 15 of the HTML code.

I'm using IE 10 and need to use Compatibility Mode to get this forum to work correctly. Usine IE I need to click on Tools -> Compatibility View Settings ; and then add this forum to the list.

I've gotten that error message earlier in the week but not today.

I haven't had any problems accessing the site but earlier today it was acting kind of strange. It seems like it's back to "normal" at this time.

Re: Trouble accessing for forum from laptop

I was getting this all evening/night:

Website is offline The server may be down for maintenance, there may be a network problem, or the site may be experiencing excessive load.
    Error 522
    Connection timed out
It also said my browser was ok and CloudFlare was ok.

I emailed Admin because I thought my IP address might have been blocked.

I guess it has been mended but no comment from anyone as to what happened. Glad it's not just me.

Re: Trouble accessing for forum from laptop

I can now access the forum from my laptop but the first time I tried it I got the CloudFlare message and was then redirected here.

Next time I tried it seemed to take much longer than normal.

Does anybody have any idea what's going on?

    No, it's not solved.

I think I pressed a button, or something like that, by mistake last night when creating the thread.

I've been getting a blank, white screen when I try to switch Forums and/or after I've posted a response . Also, cannot type in this reply box unless I go to Advanced.

Re: Trouble accessing for forum from laptop

I am at a total loss as to what exactly is going on behind the curtains, seems like "Error Messages" pop up at random, whenever the server's Code encounters "something odd".

    My latest =
    header('HTTP/1.1 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable'); header('Status: 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable'); header('Retry-After: 17200'); // in seconds print "TEST123";

No. I have just tried again, and it responds with - "You are not logged in, or you don't have permission to access..."

    @ arlu1201,

Thank you Arlette, I can access the Members List now.

Somehow my settings for clearing the Cache on exiting browsing, just restored itself by some kind of mysterious way, since it never happened before.

    All fine now.
