Issue - Invalid Data In Profile Page

[ kidding ]a perfect way to point out that names/nicks should be unique throughout a forum and why the forum software should block special charcters in these.[ /kidding ]

Honestly: I guess thatīs one of the updates with the forum software that the link to your shown identity isnīt available (must be checked with other users using special characters as well - we canīt as the members list is once again disabled, couldnīt have been at a more splendid time indeed). I think the issue has to be considered by the TT (maybe could be fixed manually by an Admin by directing the shown identity to the correct information in the lookup tables).

if you look at the profile page when pointing on :) Sixthsense :) youīll find that the special characters are simply replaced by - (and there arenīt no spaces between these and the "normal" nick, with FF itīs just .../-sixthsense-.html). So I think itīs a modified algorithm which will omitt the - in the name as well and connect to the first hit a la VLookUp resulting in a mismatch (no ability to set a fourth parameter there Iīm afraid). I figured out that @ is replaced with - as well - I donīt know if thatīs a vBulletin standard but I would definitely prefer to use different symbols there.

But at present I dont have access to system and sending replies from basic model mobile device so I am unable to check the points which you have mentioned in your posts.

As mentioned by you I suspect the proddile data is coming from another users Login Id which may be Sixthsense.

At the same time I missed to mention about the Friends List which is showing as 0 now

Sixthsense, i am seeing your profile page in the admin control panel and it looks to have mistakenly mapped to your old id. Did you have an old userid on the forum in the same name but without the ?

The issue has been fixed, Sixthsense.

No it’s not my old ID and it’s the ID of someone

Yeah!! Thanks for the fix and I got my data back in my profile page.

But still one issue is persist, i.e. my avatar which shows near my posts are gone and I tried to re upload it twice and it is not getting updated

Still I am unable to upload my Avatar please look into it once I upload and give save changes then its disappearing in seconds.

Sorry SS, i have asked the tech team to check into it. Will get back to you on this by tomorrow. Looks like one setting for avatar has been disabled thats why its disappearing at your end.
