General - Help on using the Forum; Specific - removing unwanted attachments

I can't seem to find any Help on using the Forum resources. (There's LOADS of great help on Excel out there, but nothing about using the forum itself).

Specifically, I have several attachments that I have uploaded. Some of them are duplicates, and I'd like to clean up those that I no longer need. However, I can't find any obvious way of doing this.

Can someone please help?

Hi Tony,

Not sure if you have access to this, but you can check. One warning though - if you remove an attachment from a thread, it may create confusion within the thread as future users won't be able to see the information the posts pertain to.

Click "User CP" (link in menu bar at top) to go to your Settings page.
Along left side of page, scroll down to "My Settings" section, then "Miscellaneous", then "Attachments".
Upon clicking Attachments you'll be able to see all attachments you've uploaded and can delete them.

If not, then it's due to my status that I can see/adjust those.

Any specific reason that you want to delete these?

Reason for cleanup is just general good citizenship. After following Paul's suggestion, I have a better sense of how exactly the attachments are saved, and it makes a lot more sense now, and I won't be doing any cleanup!

(I was particularly interested in cleaning up the 3 or 4 different attempts to get something right for one of the threads where I am subscribed)
