How many files have been attached to posts?
I imagine the number is very large.
Is it possible that managing all these files causes some site performance issues?

I asked this exact same question about a year ago.
The admin couldn't give a number.
I'm guessing it's quite large. 10s of 1000s.

I would think that, because the files are just being stored, and not being accessed, that would not affect the forum's performance. It would be like saying - I have 10 000 songs stored on my jhard drive...will this slow my PC down?
The answer would only be yes if you had a real small hard drive, or were (somehow) trying to access a whole lot of them at the same time
