Hi guys,
I want to add an avatar picture to my profile, but i saw that I don't have this option to my settings.
Is there a way to advise if I can have one or what should I do?
Hi guys,

Please consider:
Be polite. Thank those who have helped you.
Click the star icon in the lower left part of the contributor's post and add Reputation. If you are satisfied with the help you have received, then Please do Mark your thread [SOLVED] .
Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
Posting code between tags makes your code much easier to read and copy for testing, it also maintains VBA formatting.
I think there is both a time constraint (6 month's membership ?) and a minimum number of posts (200 ?) before you are allowed to do this. I've suggested what I think those are, but I wasn't able to confirm the values when searching the FAQ.
Hope this helps.
Pete
It is mentioned here...

Thanks Alan, I knew I had seen it somewhere.
But with 6 month's membership and nearly 150 posts, the OP should be able to upload a non-animated avatar.
Pete
Hi Pete
Yep, think he should, according to
".....60 days and 100 posts...you will be able to upload a non-animated avatar...."
_.....
There have been problems with the software in uploading Avatars,_...
http://www.excelforum.com/suggestion...my-avatar.html
http://www.excelforum.com/the-water-...ge-avatar.html
_.. sometimes only .png work not .jpg, sometimes the other way around etc..
_...... but I do not know how well behaved the Limits are, when you get the option shown, ...It would not be surprising if that was a bit quirky as well. Lol

Um .. ?? hang, on, my first coffee just knocked in
We are all a bit mixed up.......
Op wants “avatar Picture to profile”?.....” avatar picture for my profile”
We have two things here at ExcelForum:.....
_1 ) Avatar (---- Settings-----Edit Avatar )
Avatar is that thing on the left in the margin under your name shown in a post
_2 ) Profile Picture.... ( Settings-------Edit Profile Picture )
„….Profile pictures are small pictures of yourself, which are displayed within your user profile....”
To see it, click on someone’s name in the left margin, and select View Profile.
So we are not sure what the OP wants ...“Avatar picture on Profile”... ” avatar picture for my profile”...
_.....................................
@ IonutC
What do you want
Either
_1) ( Avatar. ) Picture in the left margin under your name
(_ 1a) non-animated avatar. )
(_1b) an animated avatar. )
Or
_2) Picture in your profile
_........
Depending on what you want, see the limits given - ....again summarised here:
_1) _1a)60 days and 100 posts...you will be able to upload a non-animated avatar.
_ ___ 1b) 120 days registered and 300 posts and 150 reputation points...you will be able to upload an animated avatar.
_2 ) 360 days registered, 1200 posts and 600 reputation points...you can upload a profile picture
_................
Strange... you need “more” to upload a picture in the profile which is not directly to be seen. You need less to upload a non animated Avatar ( which of course can also be a “Picture” of you) which is always to be seen.. I said it was likely quirky !
_.................
@ Ford. Your Figures are well mixed up.
You gave Posts and days for “....you will be able to upload an animated avatar....”
You gave Rep points for “........you can upload a profile picture.....”_...
( and you highlighted the Option “.....an animated avatar....” )
_...Maybe you were attempting a “pseudo” average of all to suit the unclear requirement of the OP. .. Lol...( I do not think you need a Coffee – I guess on your time scale you are thinking of something to dream about...
Maybe the “anomalies of the ExcelForum Software”,, lol... Sleep well
