Hi everyone,
Here is a tricky question due its nature (forum rules) and I don't know how to address it in a correctly way. Also I would like to make a clear remark:
- A: I would like to have counsel about legal and free Excel courses for beginners that everyone can access or personal exercises made from oneself or personal material from teachers or other members of the forum.
- B: With this I'm not intended to break any of the respectable rules stated for this forum.
Here is the issue. My girlfriend is about to start soon her first job in a office environment due the nature of hers future job. But now she's facing the challenge to work with Excel in her daily basis as beginner user, challenge she has never faced before. We can say that she isn't very IT literate, just basic emails, cloud services, MS Word and Power Point.
The bad thing about it is that she has not patient in terms of learning IT and I 'm not very good at teaching, I use to go to the origin of everything for her to understand the reason and the meaning for the task we are talking about. (As you can see I'm very chatty!).
A few weeks ago I bought her a beginner book that explains Excel in a very easy language and with simple steps to understand the most common features of Excel from basic aspects and features such as essential editing/formatting techniques to basic formulas and functions. I thought it was enough but she has a major point. She cannot learn until she practise all what the book says. Unfortunately the book doesn't has exercises.
I haven't the time, the knowledge and the patient for creating her exercises following the book, so here my request:
Does anyone has/know any free-legal websites, personal exercises for beginners or even better if I'm lucky and at this community are some teachers that could hand me some basic exercises that they've to help their pupils or students.
I don't want to encourage anyone to break the forum rules and try to sell, promote or benefit from their products/services.
Please help!!
