Hi all,
If you are working with Excel & VBA you will at some point discover that they have their limitations.
The most frequently asked for improvement in MS office is the conversion of VBA into Python.
Python contains options (mathematical, graphical) that are not possible in Excel or VBA.
Python programmers on the other hand want to make use of Excels' options like pivottables, graphs, userforms.
In the world of Python several attemps have been made to link Python to Excel, resulting in just another new (sub)library in Pyhon.
To me an approach based on Excel itself seems much more evident and simple.
In this approach Excel is being used as front-end, Python as back-end program.
The result of my endeavour you'll find here:

I compare a commonly used Python approach (XLwings) to mine, based on Excel (it could be any MS-Office program).
If you are interested: be my guest (soyez le bienvenu), hope to meet you there.
If you have suggestions/questions: I am very curious.
