Problem with Editing Posts to Mark as Solved

Didn’t know where to put this as it pertains to a problem I’m having with the website itself and didn’t see a section for that, and thought this section would get enough traffic that someone would know the answer.

I create a post, you fine people help me with the problem, then I go back to edit the original post to mark it as solved. Every single time I go to do this, it erases the entire original message automatically; meaning I have to copy the original post, hit edit, go advanced, paste the original post, then switch it to solved.

What am I doing wrong that’s making it do this?

to mark it as solved you go to the thread tools dropdown at the top of this post and select mark as solved. That should be all you need to do.

You don't need to edit post. Just go to the right top menu and use Thread Tools > Solved
