Cannot reply to a thread due to Securi Firewall Block

    Hello guys,

It's been almost 2 months since I'm trying to say 'THANKS' to a mate for solving my problem and I just cannot. I get the annoying message for being blocked by the firewall both on 'Reply' and 'PM'. Since I managed to post a reply into a different topic I dicided the problem is not in my IP as the message said. Then I found a bunch of topics in this section with this problem and everyone is saying that the symbols < and > must be separated by spaces. The thing is I have no such symbols in my post and the code was quoted above that multiple times... Any suggestions?

Edit: I tried removing the ® symbol - didn't help.

I have moved this to The Water Cooler, as it's not a suggestion for improvement.

I can't see what in your code could be triggering Sucuri - are there any hints in the error message you are getting? Does it mention HTML at all?

Re: Cannot reply to a thread due to Securi Firewall Block

Hello, a great mate approached me on PM and showed me this: /tips-and-tutorials/1213799-sucuri-block-access-denied-sucuri-website-firewall-workarounds.html
    My issue was #3.

And sorry for posting this in the wrong section but I was kind of inteting to refer this as a suggestion indeed but it rather sounded like a question. For literally 2 months I believed I'm blacklisted and although I'm a newbie, this might actually be a deal-breaker for somebody. I assume changing the FW or the error message would be quite harder than simply put the above linked topic on some really eye-catching place.

I am afraid this is out of our control - it's a known issue, I agree it's a major pain and I can only apologise for the inconvenience. Some other members were experiencing issues yesterday, too - the technical team have been informed (again).
