I’ve been having trouble with Sucuri. It started last night (CDST: USA) and continues this afternoon.
This is has been chronic.Hosting Server Connect Timeout
HTTP 502 — Unable to Connect to the Origin Server
Please try again in a few minutes
Sometimes the forum site works for a few minutes, and then doesn’t for longer periods. Sometimes I can’t even log off.
Am I the only one experiencing this?

I've had that in the past, but not for a few months now. It's very frustrating when it happens.

I have been informed that shg has/had the same problem. I have pushed up to the TT
1. Use code tags for VBA. [code] Your Code [/code] (or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Thank you both. I've never had it happen like this before ... maybe for one or two hours and typically on a Sunday. I’ve always figured the forum was down for maintenance. But I’ve never seen it persist for 24 hours.
Alan Sidman was locked out all yesterday, too. Some of us were unaffected. There has been one other recent report (also in The Water Cooler) of similar issues.

Yes I saw that one, too. It seemed to happen at posting ... had some of those mystery Sucuri episodes as well.
I got Sucuri whenever I clicked any of the links. When I clicked what's new ... and it worked ... I saw the typical 5-6 page backlog that I usually do. It made me think not everyone was having this problem.
I've had this, too, on occasions, and for several hours at a time, but it only happened to me once all day yesterday.

I managed to log in about 10 minutes ago. Got Sucuri about 5 minutes ago. Have a window of opportunity to respond.
Hello everyone. I have been blocked by Sucuri for a solid week now. I got a hold of some one through the excel forum facebook page because I couldn't even get the the websites front page. I am still blocked today. I am using a hide my IP app to get into here today. It's the only way I could get access. The person on facebook seemed to be trying to solve the issue and said that they had my IP address white listed and asked if I could access the site but it didn't work. I am having this issue everywhere. On my work computer, home computer cell phone and I even had my mom try to get on and she lives in a different city. She couldn't get on the website either. I was right in the middle of helping another member with a workbook when I got blocked. worked in the morning and blocked in the afternoon. Please help. Thank You (hopefully this hide me app keeps working)
To update, I managed to log in the first time. After about 10 minutes Sucuri blocked me. It doesn't appear this has been addressed by Team Tech yet.

TT said Alan was white listed, but he is still blocked, so they asked for his IP. Also just found out that Jeff is also blocked, told the TT about that as well, as well as a few other members having issues

I've had the same issue for about a week...it finally cleared up this afternoon. An email to Forum Admin seems to have done the trick.

Perhaps the TT could let us know what the problem was caused by and how they fixed it, so those of us with long memories will be able to suggest the solution to them when the problem occurs again (as it inevitably will).

Good idea Pete...this 76 year old memory isn't so long anymore but I'll print a hard copy of the solution...put it in a special place...hope I don't forget that "special place"...this has been very frustrating...thought I was "blackballed"...

As far as memories go, I think I have a bad memory, but I cant remember if I do or not
I was taking some vitamins that supposedly improve your memory, but I kept forgetting to take them (true story)

I just got in today after a long period of inability. I could not enter any page - a thread, home page, this Water Cooler, nothing - for between 3 and 6 days straight (I stopped checking). After the first couple of days, maybe starting on the 28th or 29th, I started getting "404 not found" on everything.
I go to a lot of sites and forums. Nowhere else has had any of the issues I've seen with Sucuri here; maybe it's because none of the others run it. I've seen nothing so bad anywhere in the past 20 years, except 3 days when one Excel or Access forum just showed an Arab language jihad message on every page
I was locked out for about 2 weeks. It'd be nice to know what causes this and how/if I can avoid that.

Guys, here is the feedback I just got for this problem...
We are using sucuir firewall
And sucuri have added a new pool of ip in network of firewall
And new ip was creating issue with our server
So it was blocking all request on it
But now its resolved
