Wanting To Purchase MS Office Pro 2010 & Higher

    .

This post was placed in the "Water Cooler" section for general conversation. I trust it displays as such.

I'm looking to purchase MS Office Pro version 2010 or higher. I've looked at eBay and some other websites but the products offered are
pirated versions or ... indicate the DVD is included but in reality it is only a 'download version'.

I am seeking a good, used copy that includes the DVD.

    Anyone have any suggestions ?

I don't think a thread in the Water Cooler should suffer from a strong interpretation of that rule.

Equally, I wouldn't want to see people wasting time providing the same answers elsewhere in ignorance of what's already been answered here.

    @Logit
If your company subscribes to Home User Program offered by Microsoft, you can buy Office Pro for approximately $15 US.

    TMS

Just looked at Amazon. They have 2019 listed as download version for next to nothing. Are these sellers for real ..... or are they pirates like the others ?
How can they sell even the download version for so cheap ?

Well, at least you can go back to Amazon if it doesn’t work.

What is wrong with pirated versions?
I once bought MSO 365. There was a problem with it. I was received support from MS.
    I demolished it. Never again.

Office 365 Home is $100/yr and you're always on the latest version/update, and it's good for up to SIXusers. It includes Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Access (PC-only) and Publisher (PC-only).

Office 365 Personal is $70/yr but you're only allowed one user.

Office 2019 Professional (same apps included as the two options above), costs $440. You don't get version upgrades (new versions must be bought at full price again), and it may still be a download, not a DVD. (Not sure what the need for a DVD is, honestly.)

Seems like a no-brainer to go the subscription route, unless you plan to continue using the same version of Office for 5+ years.

    Yes, that is my intent.
