    I am trying to post in the 'formulas and functions thread" with no workbook or anything but whne I try to post I am directed to the page in the attached image error.PNG

    As I said in another thread to which you posted, there will be something in the code or formula you are trying to post - possibly < or > , both of which will need spaces either side of them so as not to trigger the firewall.

    Than all you can do is to post a workbook with the formula inside it in your post. I will then have a look and see what's causing it.

    Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

    Start a thread and attach the workbook there. Say that you have been told to do this.
