    Good morning, Peter!

Why are you asking me specifically? I am a moderator, not an admin or a member of the tech team.

However, I can tell you that there are certain things that the forum will reject: it does not like HTML code and it tends to throw a hissy fit if you try to use characters such as < or > without spaces either side. Does this resonate with the situations in which you find this happening?

    Don't worry: it's not just you ...

    Re: Att Ali

If you post a formula which has angle brackets (i.e. < for less than or > for greater than), then you must ensure there are spaces before and after those symbols, even if you do not have them in the formula, otherwise the firewall sometimes thinks you are trying to inject some HTML code within your post.

Sometimes it allows it through and other times it doesn't (and the annoying thing is that you have lost what you have typed then).

Just one of the many quirks of using this site.

    Hope this helps.

No, you haven't - just use the back arrow from the error message window.

    Re: Att Ali

    That's WAY too big!!!!!

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 160 by 160 pixels or 29.3 KB (whichever is smaller).
... is what it says directly below the box where you browse to the image you want to use.

Do you need any help with reduction of the image file size, Peter?

You said MB in post #5!!!

No, sorry - I am a moderator, not an administrator, and as such do not have the requisite permission to edit your profile in any way at all.

On the face of it there should be no problem.

The photo is 50x50 as required but that Sucuri Website Firewall blocks me all the time.

    Re: Att Ali

What is the name of the .jpg? Change it to avatar.jpg and see if it loads.

Oddly, you have uploaded it here without a problem!
