Collection of Excel Projects - Post yours here

I would love to start a thread and have people post a variety of their excel projects that may be useful to others. Even if the specifics of what it does do not apply, the spreadsheet may do something that I could use/implement in the future. I'll start by posting this one. This is a project I built to go out to a website and fetch various interest rates. It's nice because it's in one spot and it makes for easy instruction to someone else. It could also be used to fetch other information. I'll dig around my old files and see if I have other cool projects to post, but I would love to see others.

I'm a banker, so spreadsheets with numbers, calculations, etc... always come in handy.

Nice idea, but in the wrong place, I’m afraid, as the main forum sections are for problem-solving. I’ve moved this to The Water Cooler.

This worksheet is a perpetual Public Holiday Schedule for Canada,(Ontario) UK,(England), South Africa and the USA (DC Area). Using the current dates provided, adjustments are made for dates that fall on Saturday & Sunday, and it also contains the Easter Dates. Dates can vary for the UK, the States and Provinces so these do need to be checked where necessary, however I find it useful for Conditional Formatting Employee Shift Schedules of which I seem to do a lot of. ($$)

Updates and revised workbook now includes South Africa.

Uploading an attachment will assist Forum Members in finding the correct Solution for you. Create a dummy worksheet if necessary, add your start data and show where / what your expected results should be. TO ADD A FILE:

Go to 'Advanced. click on 'Manage Attachments. Select 'Browse & Choose your file, Select 'Upload and then close the Attachment window.

I tried to open this, but it looks like it is corrupt.

    Rick

Opens ok for me. Not sure what your issue is. It is a Macro driven file that opens to Splash Page that provides instructions. It was originally written in 2003 .xls format which I have not updated nor felt a need as it works in all Excel upgrades that I have used including my current 2019 version.

for xls files, save the workbook, then open it, rather than trying to open directly from the link.

The workbook you shared has lots of data connections in it - actually 124 of them:

Sorry, I guess I just don't know enough to understand. I put together the VBA code to import the data from the websites. My knowledge is limited in this area so I just don't know. Is there a way to accomplish what I have done in a cleaner manner?
