    contacting code developer

This is my first post. If I find a piece of code that I think solves my problem, can I contact the developer to answer a question i might have? I hope this is the correct forum.

    Re: contacting code developer

    Welcome to the forum.

All you need to do is to start your own thread in the VBA section - make sure the title tells us what you are trying to do. You can also mention the name of the thread where you found the useful code and the member who provided it in your opening post.

You should NOT contact the member via private message - that would contravene rule #8: https://www.excelforum.com/forum-rul...rum-rules.html

    Hope this helps.
