Looking for a post by Richard or Glenn (I think) about building a spreadsheet

A couple of days ago I read a post by Richard or Glenn (I think) explaining very well how a spreadsheet should be built so that the data can be analyzed easily, instead of creating the end result and having trouble exploiting data later.
If anyone could post a link to that thread I would really appreciate.
    Thanks in adavance
    André

Thanks Logit, I'm afraid it's another one.
Content is something like " People create the end result first, then have problems doing something else with the data. Create a sheet with one column per topic ( date, member, etc..) and start from there to create needed results".
The post ended with a sentence about Pivot Tables.

    Basically:

    1 record per row
1 property of each record per column

If it was me... it might have been this one:

Thanks Glenn, but it was another one. I'll keep looking because I found it was explained well
