MZ-Tools

Many years ago I used MZ-Tools 3.0, but I notice it is no longer free due to its been upgraded to 8.0.

Anybody have any other tools they use like MZ-Tools, but free?

    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

    Re: MZ-Tools

May be one or combination of below?

Rubberduck - I've used this in the past, when I used to code quite a bit in VBA. Convenient refactoring, indentation etc.

SourceTree - For version tracking. Used in conjunction with GitXL

Alternately, using Visual Studio Code as external IDE, use VSCode VBA extension. It will give proper syntax highlighting along with other tools that comes native to Visual Studio Code.
You can combine it with Rubberduck's bulk import/export functionality.

Personally I'd also recommend looking into xlWings. Python integration with Excel.

    Re: MZ-Tools

In that case the old MZ-tools 3.0 won't work as it doesn't support 64bit.
