    New user trying to post links

    LOL, trying to ask for help with VBA code to open a website, but am too new to post links. Here's a pic of my dog. Regards, Rich.

    You are not allowed to post links as a new member, and you should not need to. You can attach a workbook (see the yellow banner at the top of the page) and/or post the code in your thread.

    Thanks, let me check that out. My code is using the application.followhyperlink function, and all my attempts to list the code without any form of link failed.

    Yes, because you can’t post links. Just replace the link with a placeholder.

    Ok, what kind of place holder? I omitted the entire beginning of the maps site, and only used that portion of the address without a domain. Just a couple backslashes without any kind of reference point. Your forum software is very clever, ha. Apparently no back slashes.

    Here's a test. Let's see what happens. (Trial and error is how I learn usually.)

    ?api=1&map_action=map&center=" & strCoords & "&zoom=15&basemap=terrain"


    (on edit) apparently no backslashes. The rest of the URL, above, was ok.
