The first link says "Valid for 30 months". Or am I missing the point of your question?
BSB

""The various options are $10, $20, $30, $40, $50, $100, $200 all valid for a period of 1 month from the date of purchase.""

There's a lot in the second link that isn't actually true. I am pretty sure the first link is accurate.
If you don't get any response, the points aren't automatically refunded after 10 days, as it seems to suggest in the FAQ from 2013 (which really needs updating - I'll look into that). Instead, you'd need to contact an administrator to do it for you.
Is there any reason why you feel the need to use Commercial Services?
EDIT: I have raised the issue of the out-of-date FAQ on the moderators' forum.

no real reason as yet
after what time are point refunded then ?
I just noted it as an addition to the forum so checked it out
thanks for getting back and clarifying
As I said, points are refunded on request (via an administrator).
My advice is this: stay on the free forum if you can. The vast majority of even complex queries are answered there for free, and the whole membership can chip in (not just a few, as in commercial services).
By the way, are you still using Excel 2007? If not, please update your forum profile. Thanks.
