    Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) advice for the public

    Dear All Friend's
    As you are know about today's scenario, in worldwide fight against corona virus. Here some guide lines.
    "How to protect yourself from the corona virus"
    >Wash your hands frequently : Do not touch your face with unwash hand
    >Stay home
    >Avoid close contact
    >Cover coughs and sneezes
    >Wear a face mask if you are sick
    >Clean and disinfect
    >Maintain social distancing
    >Do not travel unless necessary
    >Do not go to crowded areas
    >Do not believe everything on the internet
    >Do not seek alternative treatments
    >Do not take antibiotics without doctors advice
    >Do not propagate hostility
    >Do not panic

    Yesterday india prime minister PM Modi's 9 requests
    1. Every Indian citizen should be cautious for a few weeks, and when it is unnecessary, do not get out of the house.
    2. 60-65-year-old must stay inside their homes.
    3. On March 22 (Sunday), PM requests the Indian citizens to follow 'Janta curfew', which is staying in their homes from 7 am to 9 pm.
    4. People at home, on Sunday, should salute those who are serving the country to control the spread of the novel coronavirus, at 5 pm.
    5. Avoid going for routine check-ups, try to postpone surgeries, unless and until it is of utmost emergency.
    6. The Union government under Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, keeping in mind the impact of the coronavirus on the economy, a 'Coronavirus Economic Task Force' will be formed.
    7. The Prime Minister requested the business agencies to not cut down the salaries of their employees.
    8. Do not engage in 'panic-buying' and refrain from stocking essential goods.
    9. Also, stay away from false information and rumours.

    And "Don't believe everything you hear on the internet." Good advice.
    Has any country promoted the proper way to wear and remove masks and gloves? I see people in grocery stores wearing gloves and talking on their cell phones. I think for the general public it is better to not wear mask and gloves unless you have to work without social distancing or have the virus.

    At least in Canada, following is advised related to gloves.

    1. Only use for specific task and dispose/disinfect gloves after each use.
    2. For most tasks washing hands regularly will be sufficient protection.
    3. Glove surface is as same as skin and can be vector when not cleaned properly.

    Information surrounding mask use is bit more ambiguous.

    And also; thinking that especially health workers may need them, not to use gloves and masks unnecessarily.....
