Thanks a lot
So she celebrates her birthday on the second Saturday of June.
Excelily speaking
=DATE(CalendarYear,6,1)-DAY(DATE(CalendarYear,6,1))+1+2*7-WEEKDAY(DATE(CalendarYear,6,1)-DAY(DATE(CalendarYear,6,1))+8-7)
Try this:
=WORKDAY.INTL(DATE(CalendarYear,6,1),2,"1111101")

I am not sure if the change to the 2nd Saturday is permanent, it has only been for the last few years

A shorter formula than mine.
I would rephrase my second question as
"Is there a link to the list of festivals celebrated in the UK?" rather than bank Holdays.
Festivals
There are many, often celebrated by different religious beliefs, I am not sure how with would help you. The queen's birthday is not a festival.
What would you say are the festivals in Pakistan (Just Muslim?) or would you include minority beliefs.
Holiday i believe can be unrelated to festivals such as the August holiday in the Uk or perhaps Labour day or Kashmir dayin Pakistan
Waht is your purpose?
Thanks davsth
As the UK, especially London is a multicultural place, we see the festivals of minorities are celebrated beside the Christian festivals. I am preparing a list of festivals that are used to be celebrated either across the UK or in specific places some of them are
New Year's Day
2nd January
Epiphany
Orthodox Christmas Day
Orthodox New Year
Burns Night
Chinese New Year
Tu B'Shevat (Arbor Day)
Valentine's Day
Maha Shivaratri
Carnival / Shrove Tuesday
Carnival / Ash Wednesday
St. David's Day
Holi
Purim
St Patrick's Day
March Equinox
Isra and Mi'raj
Mothering Sunday
I am preparing this list but the challenge I am facing is to determine their dates of AD Calendar. For example when Orthodox Easter and Chrismas
Hello AliGW
Can you please confirm what I need to change in your formula if I want to get date of nth weekday say Tuesday?
I think it might be time to start a thread on this in the appropriate place.

United Kingdom
The monarch's birthday has been celebrated in the United Kingdom since 1748, during the reign of King George II. Queen Elizabeth II's Official Birthday was originally celebrated on the second Thursday of June, the same day that her father, King George VI, celebrated his Official Birthday during his reign. However, this was changed in 1959, seven years after she became Queen, and her Official Birthday has since then been celebrated on the second Saturday of June. Edward VII, who reigned from 1901 to 1910 and whose birthday was on 9 November, after 1908 moved the ceremony to summer in the hope of good weather.
The day is marked in London by the ceremony of Trooping the Colour, which is also known as the Queen's Birthday Parade. The list of Birthday Honours is also announced at the time of the Official Birthday celebrations. In British diplomatic missions, the day is treated as the National Day of the United Kingdom. Although it is not celebrated as a specific public holiday in the UK, some civil servants are given a "privilege day" at this time of year, which is often merged with the Spring Bank Holiday (last Monday in May) to create a long weekend, which was partly created to celebrate the monarch's birthday.
to be honest i did not know they celebrated her birthday ! I mean don't they need like a TON of candles ? :DDD

My birthday is in January (a bit too close to Christmas) - I always wished I could have a second birthday in the Summer !!

Pete,
I am with you on this. I also am in January. Maybe 1/2 birthdays are in order.
